Welcome to Sweetheart Havanese! We take great pride in our high quality Havanese. We are fortunate to have our dogs selected by a show judge based on conformation, health and temperament. The Havanese have wonderful dispositions. They are great companions for people of all ages, children, and other pets. They are playful and a lot of fun. They are very cuddly and love attention. They are also extremely cute, but the best aspect about the Havanese is definitely their personalities! They bond instantly and thrive on interaction with their families.

Our dogs are all registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC), and our two Sires are DNA profiled with the AKC. We also do patella certification with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), as well as cardiac certification with OFA, and eye certification with the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF). Our dogs have champion backgrounds, including our two Sires that are Champion.

We attend several seminars each year regarding all aspects of raising quality puppies to continually improve our breeding program. We work very closely with our veterinarian to ensure our dogs and puppies are healthy and have the best care possible.

We are fortunate to work from our home which also allows us to be available to our dogs at all times. We live in the lakes country of central Minnesota on a beautiful 60-acre wooded estate filled with groomed walking trails. Our dogs are provided with the best in comfort and care. We have a large addition to our home that was specifically planned for caring for our dogs and puppies, including a grooming room and nursery area. We have put a lot of time, effort and expense into our breeding program; but the main factor is our love and dedication to our Havanese!
